#LeBreakfast with Le Chateau

By 8:30am on a Wednesday morning, we managed to get ourselves hopelessly lost looking for Le Sommet Place Ville Marie, make a call back to MacIntyre Communications in Toronto, and make our way up at least 42 floors to find l’observatoire and be just in time for Le Chateau’s spring collection media preview. First, let’s talk venues. What a better place to feature what a Montreal brand has to offer than in a space with a 360 degree view of the beautiful (although cloudy) city? The deck was absolutely beautiful, and actually available for tours. Would recommend the view. It’s spectacular. And the presentation! If the venue wasn’t enough, the breakfast sure topped it all off. Miniature bagels with smoked salmon, capers, and cream cheese? I’ll take 10. How many of those equal a regular sized bagel? Unlimited coffee, yogurt parfaits, fresh juice…Le Chateau sure knows that fashion doesn’t really function on an empty stomach. Now onto the important information: what should you expect this spring from Le Chateau? Florals, florals, florals. The collection was very Pantone 2016/2017 …

Sashion F/W 15

I had the pleasure of attending the photographing event for Sashion’s F/W 2015 lookbook. Sashion is an online fashion destination that sells a variety of clothing from independent designers worldwide. At the event this past Saturday, we witnessed select pieces and ensembles from each designer, while treated to rice pudding, berries, Polaroids, and tons of Boxed Water. So “insta-worthy”! So, I apologize if many photos you see in this little snapshot post contain objects other than clothing (ahem, the Boxed Water).  Thank you so much to Sasha for the invite!  Oh and you should know that Sashion is having a huge summer sale! Check it out here

Tees & Coffee takes Electric Runway

Last week I had the honour of participating in the Electric Runway Fashion Show at the launch party for Toronto’s Maker Festival. Celebrating all this technologically innovative, the designs featured in the show had to cohere with the festival’s mantra. Alas, light-up clothing, jewellery, and accessories were sported on the catwalk. This was my first runway experience, where I walked for a blogger influencer feature curated by Stylekick. It was awesome to be celebrating local brands and creators. I was fortunate to walk alongside my blogging inspiration Amy from What an evening! Big thanks to Sam from the Stylekick blog for the opportunity. xx
