Pink Lady (continued)

Poodle skirts are so 50’s. So too many decades ago. We remade the 70’s with the twist of the 21st century, and it’s about time we did the same with 50’s/60’s fashion.

Ladies, I present the already thriving midi skirt. Preferably those with pleats. Those, paired with either a structured pullover sweater or a cropped Alexander Wang tank if you’re a normal person and prefer to shed the heavy fabrics in the summer heat, and some casual shoes make for a perfect everyday outfit that is easily transformable for a more dressy occasion. Just shed the shoes and opt for heels (the solution to just about every special occasion wardrobe predicament).

Inspired by Teen Vogue and the latest of spring fashion’s feminine editorials, I present my bomber-and-midi-skirt outfit combo.

This photoshoot, however, would be incomplete without a squad photo to pay homage to the iconic, original Pink Ladies:
