If you know me well, you’ll know that a bike ride to Toronto’s Distillery District is my favourite way to spend the weekends throughout the summer. Cluny’s is a French Bistro that’s one of the more recently opened places to eat in the Distillery, and I absolutely love it. Not only is their food fantastic (they make des frites classy), but they have the most beautiful interior that I have ever seen. It has an elegant, marine-inspired design that I swear I’m going to model my house after one day. And their floor game is strong…don’t mind my dirty Converse shoes…I’ve been biking.
I think it’s important to mention that not only is Cluny’s a bistro, but a boulangerie. In the front of the restaurant is a separate section featuring beautiful French pastries, bread, crepes, and desserts that are almost too pretty to eat. I love their crepes, and their coffee is fantastic as well. The only thing: paper cups.
